I.D. BLOCKS

The Modeler's Weapons Shop I.D. Block was developed as a solution to that eternal question posed by visitors viewing your model collection..."What is it?".  It is particularly valuable as a way of identifying individual models that are simply placed on a shelf in your display case.  I.D. Blocks are perfect for virtually any subject from aircraft and armor to science fiction and figures, as well as dioramas and vignettes.

Our I.D. Block is a rectangular wedge with about  a 15 degree slope and features a thin flange or lip all the way around the top to create a shallow recess.   When a nameplate is installed (which you either make or have made) and placed in front of the model or on a diorama base, the angle of the I.D. Block makes the information easier to read.
